- Preserve history via update notes, not stealth edits.
What we correct
Factual errors (names, dates, specs, prices, quotes), misleading headlines or captions, and data errors. Style or tone alone is clarified only when it changes meaning.
How we correct
- Minor fixes (typo, punctuation): corrected inline without a note unless meaning changes.
- Material fixes: added “Correction” or “Update” note at the bottom with timestamp (Asia/Jakarta) and what changed.
- Significant errors: editor note at the top + corrected body + updated JSON-LD dateModified only when content changes.
- Retraction only when the premise is fundamentally false; original URL remains with a retraction banner.
Timeframe
We aim to acknowledge within 24 hours and publish a correction within 48 hours. Urgent factual risks are patched immediately with a follow-up note.

Transparency log
Corrections are visible to readers and search indexing. We update NewsArticle dateModified only when the body meaningfully changes, per Google structured data guidance.
