1. Independence & conflicts
- No payment or product can buy coverage, placement, or ranking.
- Staff must disclose financial, family, or commercial ties to any brand or product covered. Coverage is reassigned if conflict exists.
- Advertising operates separately; sponsored content is always labeled and disclosed. See Disclosure.
2. Accuracy & verification
- Two-source rule for contested claims. Primary documents preferred over second-hand quotes.
- Specs, prices, and availability are checked at publish time; method and limits disclosed at article end.
- No generative AI invents facts. AI may help draft, but a human editor verifies and takes responsibility.
3. Sourcing & attribution
- On-the-record by default. Anonymity only when safety or job risk is proven, with editor-in-chief approval.
- Quotes are not edited to change meaning; edits for brevity are marked with ellipsis.
- Photos and videos are captioned with date and location when relevant; file photos are labeled.
4. Privacy & harm
We minimize harm. Non-public figures retain privacy; children and victims are not identified without necessity. We avoid graphic detail unless essential to public understanding.
5. Gifts & samples
Samples may be accepted only for testing, logged in a registry, and returned or donated. No gifts above nominal value. Sponsored trips are declined or disclosed with no editorial promise.
6. corrections
We correct promptly and transparently per the Correction Policy.
7. accountability
Breaches are reviewed by the Editor-in-Chief. Serious violations lead to byline removal, correction, and sanctions up to termination. Contact redaksi@tasgroup.id to raise concerns.
